New for September 2009!!

Most of our members are part of the church family and attend regular Sunday services. Others do not ‘do church’ yet but still like to be members of our group.

We’ve just got a new name. Out with the somewhat predictable ‘St Peter’s & All Saints Youth Group’, we are now the super cool ROCK SOLID. We think this name is particularly appropriate because as you know St Peter is the rock.

So what have we been up to?

We have trailed some alternative teaching material including watching film clips from movies like Star Wars and comparing their message with that of the bible. Mostly however we use’ The Grid ‘a format published by Scripture Union which is activity based and encourages our members to get more involved.

Meets fortnightly on Friday evenings, in the church hall 6.30-8.00 pm.
